Hoof Knives-
“It’s PERFECT!” according to Phyllis, a customer in Oregon who bought a knife to use in trimming her miniature horses.
Made of 1095 steel, each of my hoof knife blades are cut, ground, shaped, drilled, heat treated, and fitted to handles in small batches – by hand. Available in both right and left handed versions, blades are available as STANDARD (3/4″ wide), NARROW (3/8″ wide), and MINI (3/8″ wide and about 2-1/2″ long), and can be ordered double-edged, too!
Every one of my hand-made blades feature handles made in your selection of hardwoods: White oak, purple heart, walnut, or cherry. These beautiful woods are shaped and fitted entirely by hand, attached to the chosen blade with brass rivets and epoxied in place.
Single edge hoof knives in your choice of woods are 48 each plus 8.95 shipping to US addresses.

Barn Hooks-

My favorite horse breed is still the Clydesdale, and while it used to be a whole lot of work shoeing them they always stood well for me! I’ve commemorated this gentle work horse with a hand-forged, sculptural hook ideal for hanging tack in the barn (or backpacks in the entry way).
Handmade, each of these hooks vary slightly (just as horses do!), they’re 45 each plus 4.95 US shipping.
